Making Data Spaces Happen – Link to session –
The recently published position paper “FIWARE for Data Spaces” describes how smart applications from multiple domains can participate in the creation of Data Spaces based on FIWARE software Building Blocks. This vision is getting first materialized in the i4Trust project that provides today the right open source standard CEF-compatible building blocks for creation of Data Spaces in multiple application domains. i4Trust, on the other hand, compiles FIWARE’s contribution to the Data Spaces Business Alliance (DSBA) recently announced by @BDVA – Big Data Value Association, @FIWARE, @Gaia-X Association for Data and Cloud (AISBL). Concretely middleware for exchange of digital twin data and data marketplace services, based on industry standards and recommended CEF building blocks.
During the session we will review FIWARE’s vision on Data Spaces and the concrete developments within the i4Trust project.
