We are happy to announce that the i4Trust 2nd mentoring programme is coming to a close with 17 new pioneer data spaces emerging from our 2nd batch of experiments. I4Trust has planned to run a roadshow going through several events to promote the results of the project (GreenCities in Málaga, ITADATA in Naples, the FIWARE networking event in Herne and IoT Expo in Amsterdam).

The roadshow’s primary focus is to promote the i4Trust collaborative program, which integrates FIWARE and iSHARE technologies. This collaboration provides a robust framework for the creation of secure, efficient, and trusted data spaces. These data spaces enable the development of innovative services within emerging data value chains spanning multiple sectors.

I4Trust is aligned with the technology convergence outcomes of the Data Spaces Business Alliance (Gaia-X, BDVA, IDSA and FIWARE Foundation) to accelerate the development of federated, interoperable data spaces that enable trusted data sharing between businesses and societies in Europe.

i4Trust is developing as well a Community of Practice in Europe around these technologies supported by Fundingbox, helping to break down the barriers to cross-border and cross-industry data exchange through open source technologies and following European standards. For this purpose, it has made its technology, training, advice and initial funding available to a selection of Digital Innovation Hubs and SMEs for the creation and deployment of pioneering Data Spaces across different sectors.

Our aim is to get the i4Trust framework (technology, processes, and mentoring methodology) reused in Data Space deployment projects, and contribute this way to reducing the barriers to market entry for businesses, generating impact, and benefiting society at large.
